hi Clifford,
that's neat,
but doesn't happen exactly as you describe there.

The EDP retriggers either to the beginning of the loop,
or from where it was timewise when it was switched off.
(it can't keep track of "where the loop would be if it was playing")

...but this doesn't make your sounds any less cool
