Re: Midi question for live setup

I finally got around to doing this project and it worked out great! I already had a Boss FS-6 footswitch in my closet that I gutted and put the midi cpu from highly liquid in. I drilled the holes for the 1/4" jacks a little larger in the back to fit midi plugs and now I have really small silent midi foot controller with 2 footswitches that I can program to send exactly the midi commands I want and nothing else! I also learned a lot in the proces of doing this project.

Thanks again Slyvain for pointing me in this direction!

I'd get myself one of those: http://highlyliquid.com/midi-controllers/midi-cpu/

Solder a switch, some midi in out plugs and a 9v battery plug.  Put it
in a box and program through sysex.  A nice little weekend project.

Maybe it's overkill (or over priced), but you'll have a very small
footswitch that does what you need of it.
