Indeed! Even singers, wind players, guitarists or whatever should
visualize music like the universal code it really is! Not necessarily
thinking about "piano keys", but you should care to know all notes and
their relation with scales and chords just as the ground you are
leaping from. In this regard the  piano comes with a "built-in
shortlist"  ;-)
