Should things ever get scary in the United States, and as a dying and heavily armed empire, history says there is more than a remote possibility of this happening, these companies will be pressured into giving up information on their citizens. It's already happened here in the US and don't be naive if you think it can't happen in the future. I'm not an alarmist.......such a scenario is a long ways off if it even ever happens but the government has done so many secret and illegal things since 9/11 that we only find out about years later (when, of course, they decide not to prosecute the guilty parties) that privacy is one of the single most important considerations in maintaining the semblance of a democratic world. Google is actually a very liberal company (and far less odious than Yahoo in that respect) but faced with being closed down or capitulating to an aggressive and frightened government crack down, I have no doubt that they'd share information (if they haven't already). Now please, this a looping forum so I don't want to get into politics, so if you vehemently disagree with me about what I've postulated, please let's continue this off list so we can all get back to discussing looping and why the LP-1 is vastly superior to all forms of looping in hardware or software (that's a joke.....lol) I just want to use the Daily Digest (and not have it overwhelm my inbox of emails) and not G-Mail and wanted everyone to know why I believe that. respectfully, rick rick walker
