Stylus RMX and EDP

hey gang im really eyeballing this software to sync with the EDP
i dont know if anybody is using this two.
whats really atractive about is is that any groove sample loop is also
automatically sliced in pieces make it in really easy to speed up or
slow down withut artifacts or to trigger the independent parts with a
keyboard controller to program your own grooves.
I can also see this being really cool when slaving this grooves to the
EDP,you can  change the time signature feel on the spot,this could be
cool if u have a 4/4 EDP loop going and change the feel of the loops
time signature on the RMX spontaneoulsy.
questions:
how good does it sync to midi clock if i have the EDP as master or slave?
How deep is the midi implementation,can i control the software as easy
as ableton with a footcontroller and midi learn in stand alone mode to
start,stop,change time signature feel etc?
with such a price tag would you say is worth getting?
