Re: cool Repeater Trick vs LP-1 tricks>scramble redux

The semi-similar effect on the EDP is the sequencer style material one can generate with quantized replace (see midway through http://grubmah.com/music/y2k6.mp3) but it's a fairly different effect from scramble on the LP-1. I think I remarked a while ago that scramble may be the defining sound for the LP-1 in terms of being the sound that nothing else does.

That's bloody fantastic !

Been trying to accomplish similar stuff with the EDP but it seems to require much more deliberation. Looks like the LP1 makes this nice and fluid so you can actually play it...  LP2 will not have this feature as best as I can tell...

create an empty loop
hit scramble (medium works best, or try fast and then half speed the loop)
hit overdub and swell in some notes

kind of like this  fast scramble example with variable feedback. Way fun.
