One is emulating what would commonly be done in a multi-track recording
studio.

The other is an interaction with technology resulting in music that
would not have arisen otherwise.

how's that?

I'm very much with Bill on this one.
...that makes 4c

Giving further column inches to the already famous
may be what's required, but it doesn't promote an
understanding of of the possibilities of live looping.

afaik there isn't any guitarist who's well known and
appreciated "as a live looper".

Anyway, more importantly, congrats on being given the assignment,
great to see that the article's going to be written
by someone who actually knows about the subject...
and hope it becomes a series.
