RE: Midi out from edp.

Sorry, I end up reading these posts backwards so I have just got to the bit where you ask for the actual numbers..........

no worries, I am at work now, but I can have a look in the next day or two if it appeals.

what programme did you use to get all that nice midi event data? I am myself trying to tighten up a HUGE midi rig and  filter out any data that isn't needed..it looks pretty useful.

Can you believe when I was figuring this out, I had to slowly move the whole thing one number at a time up the note numbers  programme the whole thing , test the results then when it failed, move another number and try again......that was a loooong night !!!

That is excactly how i found the issue.....

I do have the note numbers for mapping 3  EDPs to one Berhinger somewhere....I managed it  (just) for my needs which are

[Mute] [Sus] [ Ovdb] [Sus Insert] [Undo][,Next Loop]
[Rec,] [Overdub,] [ Mulitple] [Hall Speed] [Reverse ]  [Vol]    [FdBk]

on each layer plus on layer 00 three all reset buttons (well 2 all reset and a record button which I long press  because the 3rd echoplex reset would fall off the top numbers of the midi spec.

are you saying that you found a bug in the EDP, Mark??  Congrats!

Well, seeing as one of my favorite features of the edp was apparently first deemed a bug, then I say.. Carry on Matty! You make lovely bugs!

easily possible that we never tested MIDINote# = 0
so you do that to have both EDPs on one MIDI channel... for a lack of channels or is there another advantage?

Yes I do, no particular advantage, but the Behringer 1010 pedal, (Not my pedal of choice you understand?) only has the ability to preset what midi channel a nidi note is sent on, and that is pedal-wide, regardless of patch or bank. So if you set Midi notes to be sent on channel 16, then all midi notes are on channel 16. A huge limitation of an otherwise great pedal. But not all (any) pedals are made totally with the looper in mind, I suppose...  (Although I hear Mr Gordius is pretty close)
*sigh*
