The real danger here is not in having to survive a struggling performance--all performing artists must endure this. The real danger is in letting your jitters manage your performance calendar. Stick to your commitments. Just share what you got-- no apology or explanation needed. Give it with gusto. And if you struggle-- do so with grace. Struggle is a welcome element in any performance art. The audience will rally for you if you let them. So be bold. Be daring. Be unapologetic.
