I also have a Sonuus GM2 that use for all manner of audio-to-MIDI input; right now it's my testbed tool for using with several bidules I'm experimenting with. It is, indeed, an easy way to ease into Guitar-MIDI … The Godin/Roland combo is still my setup of choice, however, since it doesn't require the same level of tweakage that the Sonuss does.
