RC-2 to PA needs DI box?

Hi Folks

been quite busy (lot of other things - also music related - but 
looping...) lately.

Is it right that for connecting the Boss RC-2 Looper to a PA, I need 
either Hi-Z Input (Guitar input) or a DI box?
I always thought it was line compatible but now I'm not so sure.
