On a Mac computer the IAC Bus is part of Core MIDI, ie the built-in
MIDI support. A "virtual MIDI patchbay", if you so like, inside the
Mac OS X. If enabled in OS X the IAC Busses show up among all other
available MIDI ports inside Live's preferences. Note that you have to
activate it also in Live for the functionality you want to use it for.
To enable the IAC Bus on the computer you need to launch "Applications
/ Utilities / Audio MIDI Setup" and look for the right box to tic.
