Take at least one photo a day. Practice at least one song on piano a day. Practice looping for 15 minutes every day. Not sure what kind of production work you mean but do something similar. Keep an eye on all the things you want to do and devote a tiny bit of your attention (something that doesn't feel overly burdensome) and keep moving. I find a lot of my time in music and looping is actually gestation time where I've devoted a lot of free time to thinking about the small details so that when I have time to actually play, I find a lot of processes and procedures are no longer present (programming ideas, loop arrangements, controller settings, etc.).
