Did u guys not read my final solution... The disaster area pedal? Works great really... Not very expensive
Teddy KumpelThere are two problems involved in running an _expression_ pedal through an A/B switch.First, the _expression_ pedal relies on a TRS connection while most A/B stompboxes make only the TS connection.Second is the question of what happens when you switch away from one of your targets: it's like unplugging the _expression_ pedal. You might like to have the "last" pedal setting maintained when you have the pedal connected to a different target. The Mission Engineering Expressionator is designed to control up to three targets from one _expression_ pedal. Expensive, but it's the only game in town, AFAICT...On Wed, Oct 23, 2013 at 10:53 AM, Kevin Cheli-Colando <billowhead@gmail.com> wrote:While I'm glad to have made acquaintance with the Disaster Area Designs site, I'm also happy to report that the Radial ab/y pedal I have does actually work with the Line 6 M9. I can take a single _expression_ pedal and split it to either just loop control or the fx control or both simultaneously.Kevin

That doesn't workI've tried every possible combination of things to do this. There's the $700 solution in the Moog MP 201. Unnecessarily bulky if all you want to do is what u just said. Then there's the midi solutions 3 box chain of pedal controller/foot switch/midi event processor,.. That worked but was almost as expensive as the Moog solution and not less bulky at the end of the day.I dreamed of a pedal that spit out midi and had a switch to go between the 2 cc's but couldn't find anything elegant... Until...I ended up with a brilliant solution from disaster area designs. He made me a pedal, similar to a wah pedal but much lighter, with a push button switch on the side to switch between cc1 and cc2. He wanted to put a switch in like a wah toe switch, but I didn't think that worked in practice since then you would be forced to leave your exp at max every time you switched. I couldn't be happier with the result and I think anyone who wanted to simply control a line 6 m series box would be equally happy. It has midi in and passes midi clock thru to the out port.SimpleHere's a pic of mine. You can get different colors.Anyone know if it would be possible to run an _expression_ pedal output to an A/B/Y switch and use a single pedal for two parameter jacks? I was thinking of trying to use a single line 6 pedal for both inputs, assigning one to the looper and one channel to the effects.
