Actually, Trim in Mobius is not the same, as far as i can tell. Trim Start will remove that portion of the loop from the loop’s beginning to your switch press; Trim End will remove that portion of the loop from your switch press to the end of the loop. What I am looking to do is to simply take a bite out of any random middle portion of a loop. Consider a quantized Stutter. This will increase the length of the overall loop by repeating the content in that sub cycle where i press the switch. What if we could do the opposite? Press the switch and *remove* that sub cycle from the overall loop, shortening the loop by that sybcycle’s length. Consider a SUS Insert - it will lengthen the loop by whatever arbitrary amount of time the switch is held down… What if we could do the opposite? a SUS Remove: just removing whatever arbitrary part of the loop where the switch is down.
