Thanks for all the help..just seen the JamMan stereo looper...how does that compare to the boss rc 30/rc 20? Do you think that would suit my needs better or worse?!

No, you can only two loops playing at the same time with the RC-30 according to this document: http://cms.rolandus.com/assets/media/pdf/RC-30_Training_Guide.pdf

Why do you need so many loops playing at once?
