maker via for about 150$, but there are more advanced ones there
http://www.peak2005.com/j/5-midi-foot-controllers It is built like a tank, folded sheet metal and quiet switches, easy to program, easy to use. I have had it about 8 months but not left the house with it. It has probably had a couple of thousand presses, but shows no wear. I make use of midi thru so it hasn't bothered me that it only has one midi out but I am sending midi out to two AKAI Mixbays, a Maxon switcher and my Roland SP404sx sample player. I send program changes to all (including bank selection). Because the Roland and the Maxon lack a Midi thru, I had to get a splitter to get it to run. Two clicks to do that (first holding down to scroll). Really easy. The advances one are, well, more advanced, but still only one Midi out. But a really nice unit ig From: rejyna@msn.com To: loopers-delight@loopers-delight.com Subject: Midi Foot Controller - Which One? Date: Sun, 2 Nov 2014 07:09:03 -0800 Gear Question: At the start of each new song in a live performance, I need to change the
starting patch number on four devices at once (drums, midi guitar, guitar
multi-effects and vocalist harmonizer).
I have been told that there are devices that would make all these changes
for me with one button push - neato!
So, here's some of the choices, any advice?
Any I'm leaving out? (don't really want a keyboard in my rig and
without a computer in the rig, USB powered controllers are out)
Thanks
