. 9:00 . SNOWDAY . Following the September release of their
Evoke EP, Snowday performs a live improvised ambient set

. 10:00 . ISLES DAY . Isles Day are made up of Marcus Beiner
and James Beardmore. They construct slow building soundscapes
using layers of eroded loops, found samples and coatings of analog
drones, moving from serene heights to claustrophobic depths. They
have released one full length, *Monoculture*, and an EP, *The Sun I
Saw*. Weird Canada called them “The cultivation of the singular

intimate night of drowsy beats, loose bytes, droney feats, psychic lights.
Focusing on live performances of experimental, ambient, drone, noise
and electronic music and encouraging a warm, open environment with
acts by people of all persuasions and backgrounds.

This one is a bit different for me as I normally shy away from using
prefab sample loops, but was playing around having fun jamming
with some on my tablet tonight while Scott was proofing this email
so thought I'd finish it up and share as sleep is elusive right now.

This one's for you Kip, we'll miss you Ted Scarf.

Warning: Tech talk for all you studio and synth geeks out there.
Recorded in Stagelight with a selection of sampled loops from
their Ambient Soundscapes add-on package mixed in with some
sequenced VSTi synths (Tal Bassline 101, a couple of AAS Ultra
Analog 1s, U-he Bazille and Vaz Modular) housed in a Bidule VSTi,
and all of it going through a bunch of Valhalla reverbs and
an 8 bar looper.
