| Hi Michael, What I love about looping: For me, live looping offers the audience something different than the average pop song which unfolds within 10 seconds. Yes, you demand more patience and concentration of your audience. But the reward after the build up is always there, and can give them a sense of a magical experience. With live looping I like to stretch out that pop music doesn't always need to be consumed like fast food. Moreover, it’s a full-fledged instrument that you have to learn to play. Live looping challenges you to keep on being very meticulous and resourceful as a musician. So it's also about craftmanship: your timing and intonation have to be spot on. Good luck with your quest! Exchange with TC on twitter - they think the unit needs more than 300 mA even though it says right on the unit that it expects 300 mA. They recommend I use the wall wart that came with it, but alas that wall wart is at home in Oakland and I am in LA heading for Arizona. I guess I’m gonna stop at a music store in Pasadena and buy a new TC wall wart. Hope it works! Than you for the advice, groupmind… |
