Basically, I use a microphone, a small arsenal of effects boxes, and a looper (the DJRND2) to improvise loop-based music in real-time. This configuration allows me to create both the sounds and the parts on the fly. My music is mostly electronic sounding, although something different comes out every time I sit down to jam. In case you were wondering, a cephalopod is a creature with no distinct boundaries between the head and the foot (like an octopus or jellyfish).
