The delay lines aren't really useful looping (as their max time is only
something like 8 ms or less).  They also take up 8 percent of the 
processing
power.  These figures aren't exact as I only toyed with one for a bit.
Check out Reaktor (a software synth/sampler) by Native Instruments.  Every
second of delay takes about 50k of RAM and with the appropriate soundcard
you can process stuff in real time through the audio inputs.  lots of fun!
The other processing on the Nord is very very cool though.  Reliable and
clean (no occasional clicks or crackles).  I'm still not sure whether I 
will
buy the micro modular or invest in its big brother as with the micro you
lose polyphony (only 1-4 voices!) and expansion ability, and not to mention
all the cool assignable knobs.
