Great stuff. Am I amaginng things, or is Bill starting to sound more like Scofield with his backbeats on this production? (listen to Handjive, A Go Go, etc). Floratone and Swamped are my favorites. ...but oh how I long for the old Frisell sound on "Rambler", "Bill Frisell, Kermit Driscoll, and Joey Baron - Live", American Blood, Safety in Numbers", etc. I've grown weary with the new sound he started with Nashville, which now seems to be threaded throughout most of his recent works....it's a great sound, no doubt...I just like his more obscure and darker material. On a more grave note, what is the deal with Kermitt? There is/was a benefit concert to raise money for him...to recoup from finance losse, medical bills from Lymes disease, etc. Kris ----- Original Message ----- From: "tEd ® kiLLiAn" <tedkillian@charter.net> To: <Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 14, 2007 2:06 PM Subject: NEW FRISELL RELAEASE "FLORATONE" Just released today . . .
