As an example, Mobius is a software looper that emulates some but not all of the EDP functions and is well over 100K lines of C++ and took 3 years to write and test. And it's still not finished :-) > But anyway if I do it I'll have a vision of about what it will entail > and do it. That's great. I'm sure you have ideas based on your experience that no other looper has implemented. If you build it I'm sure some people will love it. But unless you're prepared to implement all the features in every other looper you really can't call it the ultimate looper because for many it won't be. It is your choice of the words "ultimate" and "all the features people want" that is the source of the cynicism. CV by the way is one of the members of the Echoplex development team. I hope you pursue your project, new ideas are good. Regards, Jeff
