I'm not sure I fully understand the situation, but the rules for sending sync go like this: - the first track on which a loop is recorded becomes the sync master and determines the tempo - if the sync master track enters a state where the loop length is unknown output sync stops, this can happen in these situations - reset (obviously) - record (throw away the current loop and start over) - loop switch to an empty loop with Auto Record turned on It is this last case that causes the most surprises. Even though you had something cooking in the first loop, if you switch to another loop that is empty sync will stop unless you are using one of the various sound copy or time copy methods. If you need to keep sync going as you record new loops use LoopCopy=Timing to copy the cycle length from one loop to the next. Rather than start a recording from scratch, you'll start with an empty loop of a known size and immediately start overdubbing. Jeff
