I stopped trying to do such a thing with other musicians, maybe for one or two songs,if i use loops with bands at all i just use it as a special effect like short reverse sounds, half speed drones or build ambient sounds in the background that dont interfere with the bands or my energy, the DL4 or other unquantisized loopers can work really nice for things like that, youŽd be surprise how many musicans who master their instrument quite well cannot follow a simple drum machine.Ive also found that it works better with less musicians like a duo than with a whole band,a lot of it relies on good stage monitoring to start with which is still a gamble to this day... But if u do want to use a looper that has the functions to adapt to a human beings tempo in realtime their isnt any other that come close to the EDP!
