shawn lane-Paris DVD, boise experimental dvds...
just an fyi-i bought the Hellborg/shawn lane-dvd-Paris, and watched it over the weekend, some interesting stuff on there.
the 2nd set, shawn lane does some looping stuff at beginning of set, you can see him hitting some floor controller,
and i'm not sure what looper he used, but you could definately hear what sounded like backwards playing that was behind his opening phrasing for the song.
it was quite interesting in that it was seamless incorporated in the works, didn't seem out of place at all, and his playing is quite good.
i had seen the dvd recommended in guitar players 50 dvd must haves a few issues ago.
also -just bought the dvd 1 & 2 of krispen's boise experimental music fest-can't wait to watch those. thanks krispen for making those available-i realize it was probably a night mare to coordinate and all....
