Re: SoftStep prests

Hi All,

A preset is the collection of the 10 key's worth of presets and how the
navigation keys are configured. It is likely you will configure the nav
diamond
keys to recall presets and move decades. You can recall the presets from
the
SoftStep this way - I think most people will do this. But you can also
recall
presets for individual keys and also have the SoftStep respond to MIDI
program
changes if you have big setup and knows what you want the presets to be
and can
send to the SoftStep.

Manual is in draft form - maybe a week.

Thanks,

Nice. BTW, all that is explained on the site and in the videos with
Barry Threw. However, something that is not explained anywhere is if
the "preset" handling happens on a full setup basis (as in "bank") or
just on a local pad basis. Barry just touches briefly on this in the
NAMM video by saying that "presets can be saved and recalled".

For us on this list a kind of deal breaker would be to know (1) if
recalling presets can be done on-the-fly while performing (as opposed
to having to load the SoftStep editor software in order to recall a
preset) and also (2) if presets of full ten pad setups can be handled.

Bottom line: In this product, WHAT EXACTLY IS "A PRESET"?

Well, that Reservation List form doesn't have a box for "country". I
added "Sweden" as a parenthesis inside the "city" box. Hope that will
do.

Greetings from Sweden
