My impression is that the Looperlative has special support for Note Off via the momentary buttons facility. In other words, if I program note on 38 as a momentary button meaning either Replace or Replace+Original, then the note off will presumably toggle the other way. But this just comes from doing a little bit of poking into momentary buttons while programming up a controller so that I can start following all of the advice to "delve deeper". I didn't actually try using the momentary buttons feature. Mark P.S. I'm on whatever the current OS release is though I now gather that that's not necessarily the "best" choice.
