Re: EchoLoop vs mobius

Echoloop is totally based
on the EDP, but with stereo loops. For multitrack use
it's possible to simply use more than one plugin.
(and to use midi to select which plugin you wish to control).
There's a number of other improvements too.

as yet, Echoloop is still in the Beta stage of development.

Mobius was originally conceived as an edp clone, but long
ago went it's own way.
The way Mobius handles memory is different to the EDP/Echoloop
at a very fundamental level, so it could never have been an
accurate emulation...but then with years of subsequent development
based on user suggestions it really doesn't need to be.
afaik Multiply in Mobius isn't quite a copy of the one in
the EDP, and no doubt there's other differences in the way
that "EDP named" functions work if you look hard enough.
