Rick, You should also be aware that a number of the iOS apps utilize the motion sensors in the iPod Touch: so you can use gestures as well in your performance to control various parameters (I'm thinking, again, of ThumbJam and MorphWiz that allow you to designate just which parameters that will be...vibrato, flange, whatever!).
