Hey Mark, Thanks for this. That really means a lot. 'Cause yes, the place was in a bad shape en it is not sensible to do financially, 'cause most of the (non-acoustic) investments I did does make the church worth more but since it's a 'strange' building and not the same as your neighbours house it's really hard to predict what the value is. Nobody can really put their finger on what it's worth. But still it feels to me this is the best investment I did in my life. People are really/still in line to record here. I can still say NO to projects that I don't want to do and really, it's what I wanted for a long time: A bigger studio where I live too. Also the surroundings are very inspiring. It's a state monument which made it a bit harder on the permit side, but not everything can be easy. And I didn't do anything with taking too much risk financially. I build this thing up step by step. Same as with my career. And it's so good to see this building, which was in a really bad shape, getting alive again by my doings... Means a lot to me and to the community here. And yes, my mum is proud! :-) Cheers, Reyn www.reyn.net On May 5, 2011, at 8:38 PM, mark francombe wrote: > JESUS H CHRIST.... > I mean...
