I use the Fireface 800 with a Digimax LT for extra/higher quality mic preamps. I find the Fireface 800 generally dependable and a great balance of quality and price / # of inputs. I've had no problems using ever last one of the inputs simultaneously. The software mixer could be better, but it's okay.
