spot on post, SimeonI'm close to having my two PC studios back online (well, artistically online as I'm not going
to ever connect them to the internet) so I can try this trick. There is an amazing noise artist called THRONES who was the bassist with the Melvyn's and High on Fire. he tours around incessantly, in his band doing noise shows using onlya bass guitar, huge multiple amplifier setups (Stanosaur take notice, he's your
soulmate on bass) and a drum machine. He also uses a Vocoder to merely manipulate the overtones and feedback he generates from
his amplifiers and effects pedals. He does a little bit of looping but he makes an AMAZING sound. check him out for unusual uses of VOCODING What other uses do people have of this cool technology? I"m currently reading the fascinating history of Vocoding (invented to for encryption purposes for World War 2 ---- every American president has had a vocoder in the Oval Office). I'm in love with it lately. yours, Rick Walker n 7/22/64 11:59 AM, Simeon Harris wrote:
