Yes, that's a fun trick. I've been doing it a lot in Logic; works kind
of the same. Can apply the vocalization of any source to any target.
If using drums as source you get that chopping up effect. If using
your instrument input signal you "play" also the target like for
example having big chords backing up your single note paying. Or why
not slap an arpeggiator on the voclizer driver for high speed beeps
and boops ;-)
