That would seem to be the natural order of things :-)

here's the button presses to get EDP do the test

1) power up the EDP while holding both Param and Overdub buttons.

2) Press Param button once (or as many times as necessary) in order to 
illuminate
 the "Switches" LED.

3) Press "Insert"

Having done that the EDP will be producing a noise at the output.
By adjusting the internal preset for "DC Offset" get that noise as quiet 
as possible.


Right now I have my EDPs in a rack, so I can't open one up to find where that preset is.
Hopefully Phil can help if it isn't obvious.
