I haven't tried it with a FCB1010 since I don't own one, but with my custom-built midi controller the latency goes from unnoticeable to barely annoying depending on how much data I send in and what kind of processing I'm asking it to do. It doesn't impede normal playing and for those cases that cause issue, I can quantize to a midi clock inout from the looper. With its midi and audio processing capabilities and low price, the raspberry pi should find a home on many pedalboards. I like having the the option of performing without a laptop and still retain the sort of event processing my music relies on.
