I spent a few hours with the advance editor and I discovered more on how to set up a modline for this purpose.

You should initialize the preset with "always" or "once" command, set the Value to 1, send the right CC# for led on/led off (see the manual) and set the led behaviour at your will.

Having a visual feedback on the footcontroller rather than the laptop is a big step, IMMO.

I'm setting up 

- red lights for Mobius fuctions affecting the loop lenght (rec, ovd, multiply, divide, replace, substitute) - red blinking lights for UNDO

- orange lights for the scripts (this can be achieved mixing the red and green lights)

- green lights for common Mobius commands (next track, next loop, reverse...)

Next step is to have a led lights show to perform :-)

Unfortunatley you have to do it through the advance sofstep editor,i was also having problems with the exp pedal not reacting properly to the values
But at the end i stucked to the normal editor, i didnt have the patience to reprogram every single preset with the advanced editor and the lights werent that important for what i wanted to do which was having the leds toggle for some functions and act momentary for some ESP style sus functions etc.,maybe someday when i have more time:-)
But is all doable yes!
