That sounds like a joke to me! The point is using common templates,
not having to create one from scratch every time you want to use a
different application on the laptop. I've had the TouchOSC editor on
my Mac for a while but man, why start over from square one?

But there seems to be something deeply fishy with OSC network
communication! I just tried to target Logic, since it natively
supports OSC. With TouchOSC on the iPhone loaded with the LogicTouch
template I launced Logic. During application launch the Mac told me a
new supported control surface had been found and did I want to create
the preferences for it in Logic? "Yes" I clicked and when opening
Logic's control surface setup window there was a new template there
for LocigTouch. And the network ports had hooked up correctly by
themselves. Cool! At least some accurate communication between the
machines. But fiddling the sliders and knobs on the iPhone was not
detected by Logic. Bummer.

Then I tried with Numerology. Network ports set properly by both app's
preferences (X output addressing Y input, Y output addressing X
input). Numerology has drop-down menus by right-clicking control
objects like faders and knobs and on that menu you may chose stuff
like "MIDI learn" and "OSC learn". I tried "OSC learn" and you know
what happened.... NOTHING!!!!

Damn you OSC!!! ;-/
