No digital clock issue here, Richard. Right now the GR-55 is the only audio interface connected to the computer. When I use two RME interfaces and connect them by S/PDIF or digital ADAT one goes as master and the other as slave. But there isn't a possibility for a digital clock frequency conflict here with the GR-55. I think it is just another proof for the saying that in digital audio you always "get what you pay for" ;-)) For the stuff I do the GR-55 doesn't have a chance of replacing a RME interface. I was just saying that for a freshman starting out in live electronics performing plus studio producing a GR-55 can be a quick starter.
