I disconnected the GR-55 as audio interface and plugged in the RME
Fireface into the computer and cabled the GR-55's analog output into
the analog input of the RME - wow, much better sounding! Obviously the
GR-55 sounds less good when paying audio interface services to a
computer (being the only digital audio device, hence no digital clock
flutter issue possible).
